State Advisor Approval Not Required Events

For any events other than the ones listed under State Advisor Approval Events (below) you may compete in the event at the national TSA conference regardless of your placing in the event at the state conference. The state advisor does not need to approve you as an eligible contestant for Nationals. These events are registered for nationals by the chapter advisor.

State Advisor Approval Events

At the national TSA conference, in order to compete in some events, you must have placed in the identified top places at the state conference. These events are not registered for nationals by the chapter advisor, instead the state advisor approves the eligible contestants for Nationals. These guidelines are provided by National TSA, Click Here to see their page regarding this. (These spots are given to in the order they placed at states.....Example: if the first place team from System Control Technology does not want to register for nationals, than the second place team is offered the spot.  If that team does not take it, the third place team is offered........)
